The league will begin with a blockbuster match in Navi Mumbai. Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on January 9. This leg will feature 11 matches from January 9 to 17, which will set the tone for the season.
The league will then shift to Vadodara, where the remaining 11 league matches will be played in the playoffs. The first match will be against Gujarat Giants (GG). This will be followed by a rematch between 2025 finalists Delhi Capitals (DC) and MI. The league matches will continue till February 1, followed by a one-day break. On February 3, the second and third local teams will play in the Eliminator, with the winner advancing to the final. The table toppers will directly advance to the final, which will be held in Vadodara on February 5.
